Job Description

Job Purpose of A Cashier

The job purpose of a cashier is to efficiently handle financial transactions and provide excellent customer service.

Duties of A Cashier

  • Responsible for day to day transactions at cash counter.
  • Review documents and receive cash, cheques and Credit Card receipts from business partners/Tenants and issue receipts.
  • Prepare accurate & timely end of day reports and reconcile end of day cash cheques, bank transfer, card payments.
  • Create receipts against wire transfers, pay by link or any other payment method that is assigned.
  • Send cheques to bank for warehousing and clearing.
  • Deposit cash and cheques in respective bank accounts with accuracy.
  • Manage petty cash float.
  • Submit claims to back office for reimbursement.
  • Keep cash, cheques and petty cash in safe custody.
  • Perform any other activity as directed by management.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s in Commerce.

Experience

  • 2 Year’s experience in handling Cash & Cheques & Customer Service Orientation.
