Job Description

Job Purpose of A Cashier
The job purpose of a cashier is to efficiently handle financial transactions and provide excellent customer service.
Duties of A Cashier
- Responsible for day to day transactions at cash counter.
- Review documents and receive cash, cheques and Credit Card receipts from business partners/Tenants and issue receipts.
- Prepare accurate & timely end of day reports and reconcile end of day cash cheques, bank transfer, card payments.
- Create receipts against wire transfers, pay by link or any other payment method that is assigned.
- Send cheques to bank for warehousing and clearing.
- Deposit cash and cheques in respective bank accounts with accuracy.
- Manage petty cash float.
- Submit claims to back office for reimbursement.
- Keep cash, cheques and petty cash in safe custody.
- Perform any other activity as directed by management.
Who Can Apply?
Qualification
- Bachelor’s in Commerce.
Experience
- 2 Year’s experience in handling Cash & Cheques & Customer Service Orientation.
