Emirates Driving Institute (EDI) is presently looking hiring for role of Cashier to join them in Dubai. Emirates Driving Institute, in operation since 1991, is the largest and most successful Driving Institute in Dubai and the Middle East. EDI provides Driver License Acquisition training Courses using its fleet of over 500 vehicles in vehicle categories like Light Motor Vehicle (Car), Heavy Bus, Light Bus, Heavy Truck, Forklift and Motorcycles. EDI has over 500 qualified male & female Instructors of different nationalities who can instruct  students in their primary language making it easier for them to learn.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash, credit card and other forms of payment accurately and securely.
• Count cash in the register at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accuracy.
• Greet customers and assist them with any purchases.
• Issuing receipts to customers as they leave after their purchase.
• Comply with cash handling procedures and SOPs set by the institute.

Requirements of Cashier

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience in same field

Skills & Abilities Desired

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Good administrative skills.
• Fluency in English & Arabic is a plus.
• Proactive and skilled candidate.
• Can do approach.
