Airline Industry is currently seeking a diligent and customer focused Cashier to join their team in Dubai. The job holder will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent service to their customers. This is an entry level, full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 4001 AED to 5000 AED which may be slightly negotiable during the interview.
Responsibilities of Cashier
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases.
- Scan and process items accurately and efficiently at the checkout counter.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision.
- Ensure pricing and discounts are applied correctly to each transaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow cash handling procedures and security measures to prevent theft or discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed.
Requirements of Cashier
- Certification or diploma in finance.
- UAE residency or work permit is required.
- Proven experience of less than 1 year as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
