Serco Group presently is looking for recruitement of candidates for position of a Carpenter for their team at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi. Job Purpose of A Carpenter

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance on doors and windows including furniture.
• Be part of a reactive maintenance team and will provide first line response to defects and emergencies on carpentry works.

What You Will Do As a Carpenter At Serco

• Provide support to the Handymen and other Technical Assistants to maintain the facilities in good condition.
• Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) work on doors and opening windows to maintain smooth operation.
• Carry out repairs to defective doors, civil work wall and floors, windows, glazing and locking systems.
• Provide service to gain emergency access to locked rooms.
• Inspection and recording of assets condition.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

• Holder of technical certificate in carpentry / wood working.
• Knowledge of building construction and maintenance techniques.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as carpenter in a commercial buildings, hospitals or other facilities management buildings.
