Responsibilities of Cardiac Catheterization Technician

• Assisting physicians during all diagnostic and interventional procedures like angiograms, angioplasties, pacemaker implantations, A-V malformation repairs, and All sort of peripheral and vascular interventions.
• Administering medication according to the physician’s instructions before, during and after procedures.
• Perform Cardio Pulmonary resuscitation, bag mask ventilation, defibrillation during emergencies.
• Monitoring patients before, during and after the procedures.
• Managing and assisting in emergencies and lifesaving Procedures
• Ensuring the patient’s chart and records are updated.
• Caring of patients on Ventilators and IABP.
• Monitoring Arterial Blood pressure, CVP, and IABP.
• Interpretation of ECG.
• Following nursing process in assessment, objective, planning, implementation and evaluating patient care.
• Ensuring patient’s chart and records are updated.
• Providing instructions and education to patients and their families before, during and after the procedure and discharge.

Qualification & Experience:

Following are the requirements for the role of Locum Cardiac Catheterization Technician at King’s College Hospital London UAE:

• B.Sc degree or Diploma in Cardiovascular program.
• Has worked in hospital or similar setting for at least 2 years.
• UAE Medical Health Authority License (DHA).
