Khalifa University is presently recruiting suitably qualified and skilled candidate for the role of Campus Life Officer. The selected candidate is responsible to assist with the implementation of a student centered and vibrant campus life. Assist with the effective communication of relevant policies and procedures to students, faculty and staff.

Responsibilities of Campus Life Officer

  • Support with academic initiatives that contribute to a more robust student experience on campus.
  • Contribute to the development of an annual calendar for student activities and functions.
  • Gather and regularly update student data, including agreement letter information and stipend related elements, to maintain current information updated.
  • Ensure that student services needs on an individual basis are met, and initiate referrals to appropriate student and/or academic services.
  • Assist with student council activities as required.
  • Attend student activities at on and off campus locations.
  • Participate in events and activities led by the Student Services to maintain relationships with business, students, and other stakeholders to expand and promote opportunities within the University in order to accomplish established objectives.
  • Contribute to the onboarding of students, as well as the new student orientation program, to support the new students’ successful transition and living experience in KU Campus.
  • Assist with logistics of student activities and functions such as communicating details and other relevant bookings.
  • Take part in all major University events such as open days, graduation and commencement ceremonies and with student orientation program to orient new students into the University environment.
  • Engage in appropriate professional associations and stay abreast of new developments in the field.
  • Ensure adherence to the University’s information security policies and procedures, and report breaches or other security risks accordingly.
  • Ensure coordination with other departments to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities, as and when needed.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by Line Manager.

Job Requirements

The requirements for the job role of Campus Life Officer are as under:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 year experience in similar role.
