Cabin Mechanic Etihad Airways

Etihad Airways is presently hiring skilled and motivated candidate for the job role of Cabin Mechanic in Abu Dhabi. This role holder will be responsible to undertake cabin related maintenance tasks to identify and rectify aircraft cabin defects within the scope of capabilities and IAW the relevant CMMs and AMM.

Responsibilities of Cabin Mechanic

• Maintain and repair Seat, Galley, Lavatories, Carpets and all other aircraft interior items, maintenance, cleaning and repair.
• Perform vinyl/ lamination tasks on parts.
• Carry out leather replacement and repairs.
• Carry out passenger seat repairs.
• Cutting and Overlocking of carpets.
• Reporting, performance and certification of maintenance work.
• Ensure all documentation is completely and correctly filled out and certified.
• Undertake cabin inspections as per task card and research and order part numbers required for defect rectification.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance using the approved tooling and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure all work is carried out within the scope of approval and in accordance with the AMM and CMM as applicable.
• Undertake any additional cabin maintenance task give to him/her by his supervision.
• Deputize for cabin Technician as required.

Eligible Requirements

The eligibility requirement for role of Cabin Mechanic are as under:

• High school Diploma / certificate.
• Formal aircraft apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 Years’ experience on heavy/base Maintenance.

Knowledge Desired

• Excellent knowledge of aviation regulations.
• Training & Knowledge: Computer literate.
