Level shoe (flagship brand linked to Chalhoub Group) presently seeking to hire a candidate for the job role of a Buying Trainee in Unit GS, 075, Financial Center Rd, Downtown Dubai, Dubai, UAE. This is an Entry level full time job. And salary can range between 5000-9000 AED/month.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting market research to identify potential suppliers, products & trends.
• Collaborate with the buying team to develop effective sourcing strategies and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
• Assist in analyzing sales and inventory data to make informed buying decisions.
  Support the buying team in managing supplier relationships, including communication, performance evaluation & issue resolution.
• Participate in product development and assortment planning activities.
  Assist in preparing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor and track deliveries, resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
• Learn and adhere to company policies and procedures regarding procurement and purchasing practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions & competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and risks.
• Contribute to the overall success of the buying department by actively participating in team meetings, sharing ideas & suggesting process improvements.

Requirements for Role of Buying Trainee

• A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, economics, or in a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in retail buying, merchandising, or product management in toys industry.
