Job Overview of A Butler

Deliver personalized and exceptional guest service, catering to the specific needs and preferences of high end clientele in a luxury setting.

Your Duties As A Butler

• Comprehensive knowledge of the hotel, including all departments, services and outlets.
• Provide assistance and information to all guests.
• Build a rapport with all in-house VIP guests, identify the guests and obtain specific individual needs (likes / dislikes) in order to maintain guest history files and a high level of feedback within the department.
• Maintain privacy and security of in house guests and is continually proactive in all areas of operation.
• Provide a full cashier and currency exchange service.
• Prepare and check in arrival rooms, in house guests and departure rooms.
• Up sell rooms / suites and cross sell all outlets within the resort and Jumeirah International.
• Report for duty punctually and in accordance to the issued department roster.
• Be thoroughly knowledgeable of all in-room services, amenities, functions, systems, as well as Opera and Micros.
• Refreshes the rooms and suites and assists with turndown service.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in a given field.

Experience

• At least 1 year as a Butler Guest Services or similar in a 5 star hotel with a minimum of 200 rooms.

Skills Desired

• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office applications
• Guests services.
• Knowledge of front office application.
