Butcher Majid Al Futtaim

Majid Al Futtaim is currently looking for a Butcher who will be responsible for cutting, trimming and preparing portions of meat in line with the customer’s requirements, section’s operating standards and hygiene control procedures. Should know the butchery methods and preparations for one area of operation within the Butchery Section. The role holder is also responsible for weighing meat, wrapping it, labelling it and putting it out for display. This is a mid level full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 3000 AED to 7000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Responsibilities of Butcher

• Master the first area of operation within the Butchery Section.
• Apply meat cutting methods and techniques to prepare products as per the customers’ requests and butchery’s standard operating procedures.
• Wrap, weigh, label and price cuts of meat.
• Prepare and place meat cuts and products in display counter as per the defined guidelines.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhering to safe work practices.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Identify and segregate waste and damaged products on daily basis while maintaining a record of the waste and damaged items.

Eligibility Requirements for Role of Butcher

• High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
• 2-3 years in similar role.
• Minimum 2 years of experience within area one of operation in Butchery.

Skills Desired

• Basic English language reading, writing, and interpretation skills.
• Successful completion of Master L2 Program within Butchery.
