Business Studies Teacher – GEMS Education, Dubai
GEMS Education invites applications from qualified Business Studies Teachers to join a top-performing school in Dubai. The successful candidate will teach Business Studies at GCSE and A-Level, equipping students with essential knowledge of enterprise, marketing, finance and global business.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Business Studies lessons across KS4 and KS5, covering IGCSE and A-Level syllabi
- Develop engaging lesson plans that connect theoretical concepts with real-world business case studies
- Prepare students for external examinations with structured revision and assessment programmes
- Integrate digital tools and current business news into teaching to enhance relevance
- Support students with university preparation, including personal statements for business-related courses
- Participate in department meetings, parent consultations and school events
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Management or a related discipline
- PGCE, QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Business Studies at GCSE/A-Level
- Proficiency with Cambridge, Edexcel or AQA Business syllabi
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire entrepreneurial thinking
- Experience in the UAE education system is advantageous
Salary and Benefits
- Tax-free monthly salary: AED 12,000 – 18,000
