Job Purpose of A Business Planning & Performance Manager
- Job Holder will be responsible for supporting the Head of Value Proposition, Portfolio and Customer experience in business planning and performance management.
- Support with business planning for the unit, including creating budgets and tracking performance vs budget and target.
- Target setting & performance planning for members of the distribution, sales and service teams, across all product lines.
Duties of A Business Planning & Performance Manager
- Implement changes to incentive structure as and when needed.
- Manage optimal allocation of accounts to RMs, perform RM benchmarking and migration between units as needed.
- Provide analytical insights to recommend actions to improve performance/ reduce leakages.
- Control on BUB financials with ongoing monitoring of costs, revenues and provisioning
- Facilitate the development and tracking of the Annual Business Banking Budget with Finance Division.
- Closely monitor the income and operating expenses with prompt highlight to management of any major variances or exceptions for remedial actions wherever applicable.
- Responsible for performing market/ trend analysis as well as developing various reports for management review.
- Analyse functional performance, including regular review of scorecard metrics.
- Achieve stretch revenue goals across various product lines.
- Create business plan for the year and amend plans as necessary to adapt to rapidly changing business landscape.
- Conduct periodic review to identify market and competitive trends, including market share.
- Provision of timely information including the analysis of available data to identify potential.
- Support the Head of Business Banking with creating a comprehensive business strategy, and actively participate in supporting strategy implementation.
- Identify and analyze strategic opportunities across the unit.
- Identify gaps and actions required to deliver these strategies.
- Work closely with CIE team to review and amend incentive structure on regular basis to drive right behavior.
- Set annual targets and benchmarks for various teams across sales, relationship and service teams.
- Prepare presentations, management reports and maintain relevant trackers.
- Support regular business review meetings and conduct proactive data analysis on all metrics, including monthly financials, budgets, audit reports
- Closely monitor the development, implementation and performance of business-critical issues.
- Prepare presentations, monthly management reports and papers.
- To adopt an open and effective communication style and to be a strong team player.
- Manage key stakeholders to drive key projects and business objectives.
