Job Description
Alfahim presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of a Business Development Officer in F&B in Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is an Intermediate level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 7000-15000 AED, which may be slightly negotiable during the interview process.
Responsibilities of Business Development Officer
- Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase business in the catering and food service industry.
- Identify potential clients, target market segments, and create actionable plans to expand the client base
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and negotiations with potential clients.
- Act as a point of contact for client queries, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
- Sales Targets & Reporting: Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
- Prepare regular sales reports, including forecasts, pipeline updates, and market analysis.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify potential business growth areas.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with the operations and culinary teams to ensure the smooth execution of catering services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities.
- Ensure effective communication of customer requirements and expectations across departments.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify customer needs and emerging trends in the F&B and catering industry.
- Provide insights on pricing strategies, menu preferences, and service enhancements based on client feedback.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring both parties’ interests are met.
- Ensure all agreements comply with company policies and legal regulations.
Requirements for Role of Business Development Officer
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the F&B or catering industry – UAE.
- Experience in B2B sales is an advantage.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
