Business Development Manager National Oilwell Varco UAE

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) presently has a job opening for eligible candidate for position of a Business Development Manager in UAE. Selected candidate will have overall responsibility for all sales performance, developing and implementing action plans across the Middle East geographical area.  Your existing technical understanding of Artificial Lift Systems, with a focus on Progressive Cavity and Suction Rod Pumps, will form the basis for you to develop critical product knowledge in line with our sales strategy.

Job Duties of Business Development Manager

• Proactively developing new sales prospects and accounts in line with the sales strategy.
• Identify customers’ needs to align value proposition with current and future expectations.
• Combining strategic and tactical insight, you will translate customer-driven requirements into profitable solutions.
• Developing comprehensive sales, proposal and marketing strategies in line with global and regional initiatives.
• Aligning NOV’s strategy with current and future business strategies of existing and new customers.
• Contributing to the global sales team with monthly forecasts, weekly reports, market intelligence, etc.
• Leading the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals.
• Fully understanding existing competitive technology and market pressures within the Artificial Lift business segment, identifying areas for product development to ensure NOV is at the forefront of the market.
• Understanding and communicating customer needs, providing reactive and proactive customer support with clear, defined and documented follow-up plans.
• Customer visits, office-based support and internal travel throughout the territory as required.
• Field visits to provide customer and/or technical support at the well site as required.

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in the related field.

Experience 

• Progressive Cavity Pump Product line.
• Rod Lift Accessories Product Line.
• Sucker Rod Pump (SRP Knowledge).
