Responsibilities of Business Development Manager

  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and new business opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster collaboration and business growth.
  • Development and implement comprehensive business development plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the team to create effective sales strategies and tactics for targeting new clients and markets.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients, demonstrating the value of their services.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze business development metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Train staff to support business development effort and train customers on products and ranges
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, brand teams, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of business initiatives.

Requirements for Role of Business Development Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field prefer.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in homewares or hospitality.
