Duties of Business Development Manager
- Will be responsible of achieving GFM agreed targets for the year 2024 onwards.
- Committed to accepting the targets and capable of achieving targets within the said time frame.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and potential clients.
- Vendor registration of GFM at entire FM portfolios and client/customers.
- Analyze market data and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client portfolio and generate revenue.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong and long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Ensure client satisfaction and address their needs and concerns.
- Prepare and present proposals, bids, and presentations to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the operations and technical teams to develop customized solutions for clients.
- Attending major meetings with clients along with Operation Head if required during contract period.
- Create and implement a business development strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Negotiate contracts, agreements, and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Oversee the contract signing process and follow ups.
- Attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand the company’s network and visibility.
- Represent the company in industry events, associations, and Media Activities.
- Suggest and develop the business development budget including marketing activities.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on business development activities and progress.
- Market research and analysis.

Elgibility Requirements
The eligibility requirements for role of Business Development Manager are as under:
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or related field mandatory, master’s degree MBA will be an advantage.
- An Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) having proven record in business development.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant sales and business development experience, with a proven track record especially in the facilities management sector.
Skills Desired
- A strong understanding of the FM industry, including knowledge of Integrated Facilities management and standard practices.
- Familiarity with the UAE business landscape, including knowledge of key clients, competitors, market dynamics and digital transformation.
- Ability to work with the company to identify potential revenue sources and strategies that generate revenue.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to create persuasive and professional proposals and presentations.
- Willingness to work in a strong and competitive market to achieve set targets or exceed them.
- Knowledge of current industry best practices, technology implementation and market trends.
- Strong networking skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry contacts.
- Proficiency in negotiation techniques to close deals and contracts.
