Business Development Executive at RAKBANK Dubai is responsible to drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The vacancy was announced by the bank on March 6, 2024.

Responsibilities of Business Development Executive

  • Track and review financial performance of the Skiply portfolio and develop remedial action plans in case of variances.
  • Proactively manage sales to schools and registered users, against variances and/or competitor activity.
  • Coordinate action plans with related functions (sales, product management, analytics and marketing teams) to improve the cross-sell results on an on going basis.
  • Track and report the cross sell performance to Skiply registered users for product and sales channel.
  • Conduct periodical surveys to gauge the market perception, strengths and weaknesses of products.
  • Meet decision makers at key schools once a quarter and minute the meeting to keep the schools’ and RAKBANK’s senior management updated.
  • Handle customer complaints and provide amicable solutions within a reasonable time period.
  • To ensure processes are reviewed and followed to suit business needs and audit purposes continuously.

Requirements of Business Development Executive

  • University Degree or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of progressive 8-12 years of work experience ideally in digital channel management, payments product management, or program management of large scale digital platforms.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Knowledge of payment solutions, portfolio management, client service experience and personal banking products (cards, current/saving accounts, and loans).
  • Entrepreneurial skills with an ability to promote products/programs.
  • Analytical skills and financial acumen with respect to managing the P&L of the Skiply program.
  • Ability to have laser focus on bottom line while being considerate of the customers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage technical, marketing and sales aspect of a digital value proposition.
  • Good knowledge of Fraud Management, mitigation and risk assessment tools, from merchants’ as well as consumers’ and digital channels’ perspectives.
