Michael Page has an opportunity for Business Development Director to join a client who an MNC that provides engineering services into multiple verticals, they have an excellent reputation in the market and are going through a growth trajectory at the moment, hence they are looking for team leader that will be driving the business to the next level. The job offers commercial leadership role with multinational Company and dynamic and collaborative work environment with a diverse team.

Responsibilities of Business Development Director

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global business development strategy aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including market trends, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessment.
  • Conduct detailed market evaluations covering customers, sites, spend, competition and differentiation, market share history with market share growth and business plans.
  • Drive creation and execution of specific sales plans with the business units to ensure achievement of Sales Order In-take forecasts.
  • Identify and spearhead creation and conversion of large and long term strategic opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders particularly at senior levels, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Lead the negotiation and execution of strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and representative agreements to expand the company’s presence in target markets.
  • Drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients, expansion of existing accounts, and development of innovative business models.

Requirements of Business Development Director

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, along with several years’ related experience required
  • Experience as Sales or Business Development Director or another relevant role.
  • 4+ years of experience in similar role.
  • Experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients providing Engineering Services.
  • Strong working relationships with clients within UAE and GCC.

Skills and Abilities Desired

  • Ability to review existing processes and controls and make improvements where required.
