Job Description

The Business Development Associate ManagerĀ at Majid Al Futtaim will be responsible for owning and delivering a competitive Partner Portfolio and multi-category sourcing plan. You will establish trusted relationships with partners and secure acquisitions in line with business targets. You will be delivering the strategic partnerships to drive sales and revenue across MAF Shopping Malls Digital experiences. Duties of Business Development Associate Manager

  • Strategic ownership and delivery of a competitive Partner Portfolio and multi category sourcing plan for Shoppable Mall.
  • Own and establish trusted Partner relationships for mutual success, securing acquisitions in line with the business targets.
  • Define and deliver all Partner assessment criteria and approvals from stakeholders.
  • Deliver Partner acquisition, enrolment and system onboarding to deliver agreed target and assessment or approval criteria, including additional regions as per the strategic roll out plan.
  • Become a thought leader in defining success criteria and understand business needs of all Partners in an ever-changing business environment.
  • Understand and support each Accounts specific Brand strategy and objectives for growth.
  • Maximize opportunities to drive sales including assortment quality, advance launches and exclusive promotions.
  • Achieve all Partner performance KPIs including Sales, In Stock Availability, Assortment parity, order confirmation rate etc.
  • Provide periodic performance tracking data for your Partners to monitor challenges and opportunities, escalating to management with proposed solutions as required.
  • Provide collaborative Marketing support within Merchandising rules and Marketing communications to drive traffic and conversion.
  • Represent Account Management within all internal and external relationships with quality and excellence.
  • Internal Partnership with all cross functional departments including, Content Management, B2B COE, Leasing, Marketing and Product Management teams to align programs and initiatives to drive growth.
  • Provide input to opportunities for SEM/SEO to drive exposure for Accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies/productivity/quality, provide and execute solutions.
  • Communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively to all internal and external stakeholders.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role a Business Development Associate Manager are as under:

  • Graduate or Post Graduate with specialization in finance, retail, marketing, business, administration etc.
  • Minimum 4-5 yearsā€™ experience with reputable company in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience with leading a team to success.

Skills Desired

  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong internal and external relationship building ability for mutual achievements and successes.
  • Passion for Online Retail and dedication for the elevation of consumer experiences in the Digital world.
  • Able to communicate effectively and have excellent negotiation skills.
  • Good organizational and planning abilities including the ability to deal with/work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of intermediate to advanced MS Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Demonstrate financial acumen, including experience in managing budgets and creating business cases.
  • Be the advocate and ambassador of aligning and cascading the MAFP values, lead by example and challenge team and peers as required.
  • Demonstrate previous success in building sales and revenue in a Commerce environment.
  • Utilise data and analytics to drive success, including Technology performance, Partner performance and experience improvements.
