Business Analyst at RAKBANK Dubai is responsible to analyze and assess payment systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline operations, and enhance customer experience, ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategic goals and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities of Business Analyst

• Translate business needs into requirements.
• Responsible to think critically about Merchant Acquiring product offerings from a business user’s perspective and a detailed Business Requirements’ Document is conceptualized capturing all the details of the solution required.
• Define and track all the project deliverables and the inputs/outputs associated with each process function.
• Prepare the Business Requirement Document, UAT test cases and other relevant artefacts.
• Provide status reporting and ensure management is kept informed of progress and issues.
• Escalate promptly if there are any irregularities/incidents that may lead to risk or financial loss.
• Provide Analytical insights and data analysis on the Acquiring business for decision making, maintaining data repository.

Requirements of Business Analyst

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 4-6 years’ experience as Business Analyst for Merchant Acquiring and Payments.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Good communication skills.
• Detail oriented and capability of delivering a high level of accuracy
• Understand Merchant / Card Acquiring business.
• Understand remittance.
• Be able to run stakeholder meetings.
