Job Description

Michael Page is currently hiring a Business Analyst for a leading services group that specialises in maritime solutions that have experienced significant growth in the last two years and are expanding their operations in the UAE. Aspiring candidate must have high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and reporting writing. Submit your application if you are interested.

Responsibilities of Business Analyst

  • Lead on the collection and analysis of data from various departments, presenting findings and making recommendations to management.
  • Working with multiple departments to gather all required information for generating business and forecast reports, as required.
  • Reviewing processes to enhance reporting tools for effective decision-making.
  • Executing and implementing various projects at the direction of the Regional Director.
  • Creating and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for reporting purposes, escalating any significant performance concerns to the leadership.
  • Supporting the preparation of marketing materials to promote the work of the business.

Requirements of Business Analyst

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or relevant field.
  • 1-3 years experience, ideally within an FMCG or logistics setting.

Skills & Abilities Desired

  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • An intuitive mindset.
  • Ability to understand business process flows and respond to ad-hoc requests from senior management at pace.
  • Proactive approach to work.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
