Responsibilities of Business Analyst IFS (Cost Estimation)

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements objectives, and desired outcomes.
• Assess their existing processes and systems to identify areas where Cleopatra can add value.
• Conduct detailed analysis of current cost estimating and project control process workflows, identify areas for improvement, and propose optimized solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and document business processes, procedures, and user workflows for Cleopatra & IFS implementation.
• Provide guidelines to Estimation team to configure and customize Cleopatra & IFS modules to align with the company’s cost estimation, project planning, progress tracking, and cost control using Cleopatra software requirements.
• Conduct system testing, identify and resolve any issues or bugs, and ensure smooth integration of CRM, Fusion & IFS with existing systems.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Cleopatra and IFS functionalities and best practices for Cost Estimation and Project Controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) for production, and develop reports and dashboards to monitor performance.
• Participate in project meetings, provide regular status updates, and contribute to the overall success of the IFS implementation project.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to production management in shipbuilding and repair operations.
• Participate in Internal & External meetings and discussions and ensures action points against the assigned modules are closed in timely manner.
• Ensure that the issues related to the projects or assignments are resolved in a timely manner.
• Track the benefits and contributions by the specific application and process changes to the entire organization.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of Business Analyst IFS (Cost Estimation) are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• CBAP Certification is an added advantage .
• Certification in Cost Estimation Tools such as Cleopatra, Nomitech, Candy.
• 10+ years relevant experience in a large organization.
• Experience in handling the Manufacturing, Ship Repair, Oil, Gas & Energy Sector, Project based industries.
• Experience in using Cost Estimation Tools.
• Experience in a project delivery role; ERP implementation, upgrade, and support experience.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting gap analysis, and proposing process improvements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into system requirements.
