Banque Misr is presently recruiting suitably qualified and skilled candidate for the role of Budgeting Officer. The role holder assists the Financial Planning & Analysis Head in all matters related to Performance Analysis, Budget variance analysis function as well as participate in the bank’s strategy Formulation & Development which aligns with Banque Misr’s vision.

Responsibilities of Budgeting Officer

• Perform and support in the Formulation of the Bank Business plan, Budget & Forecast.
• Providing Accurate Variance Analysis Reports in a timely manner to facilitate & direct decision making. Provide Budget Analysis opinion, advice, and solutions across the bank.
• Designing effective budget models for LOBs and departments Provide Budgeting opinion, advice, and solutions across the bank.
• Participate in the formulation and Development of the overall Bank Strategy and ensure value creation & Maximizing shareholders equity.
• Provide sufficient analysis for Formulation & Development of the bank Business plan, Budget & Forecast to ensure that the Bank Segments/ units objectives are aligned with the overall Business / Operating model.
• Perform the Bank Financial plan/ budget and support its implementation and execution to ensure the achievement of financial objectives and targets.
• Designing effective budget models for departments and support all entire Bank in Budget process.
• Develop the concept of Rolling Forecast to determine the bank’s financial risks arising from external environment and reflecting those factors on the bank’s forecasting.
• Act as a source of Expertise and provide Budget Analysis Consultations and Advisory services to executives and line managers in other areas across the bank to ensure that finance best practices are provided and applied throughout the bank.
• Establish Budget cost breakdown structure and Budget variance analysis.
• Perform Budget analysis reports to closely monitor the business progress vs. the budget through the LOB Review, Segment profitability, Branches profitability, Product profitability, Customer profitability and finally Actual vs budget Variance Analysis.
• Perform Budget analysis to Provide management with reasons of variations of actual performance vs. budget, and provide financial advice to mitigate the variation and risks.

Requirements of Budgeting Officer

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or in related field.
• 3+ years of experience in similar role.
