General Electric is presently hiring for the job role of a BOP Sourcing Fulfillment Leader in Dubai Internet City, Tecom Zone. This position leads the expediting team for BOP (Balance of Plant Equipment) in EMEA Region Heavy duty projects and global Aero projects and ensures fulfillment of delivery committments towards the projects.
This is a team leader role, mainly of TCOE (Test Center of Excellence) resources.

Job Purpose of BOP Sourcing Fulfillment Leader

BOP Sourcing Fulfillment Leader supports Project Procurement Managers in providing systemic schedule updates for equipment deliveries in their projects and is the main point of contact for all functional matters related to expediting and will liaise with all sub functions within Sourcing department. This leader also manages the expediting of Installation Parts. BOP Sourcing Fulfillment Leader owns project on time delivery of the sourcing scope for the fegion.

Responsibilities of A BOP Sourcing Fulfillment Leader

• Responsible for preparation and implementation of project expediting plans that proactively tracks and monitors supplier deliverables.
• Participate in supplier kick off meeting with supplier quality.
• Ensure that all supplier deliverables are received according to project schedule.
• Prepare project expediting plans that provide for effective tracking, monitoring and on time receipt of all supplier deliverables including required data, documentation, materials and equipment.
• Contact suppliers to verify receipt and understanding of purchase orders, confirm shipping schedule commitments and establish monthly progress reporting requirements.
• Proactively track and monitor supplier deliverables and maintain up to date reporting in designated database reflecting current status and analysis of schedule performance.
• Share reporting with the PPM and other appropriate stakeholders for incorporation into overall project schedule.
• Provide early identification of potential risks and opportunities and create a recovery case of slippages.
• Work with suppliers to determine and implement corrective actions. Proactively monitor and enforce recovery plans.
• Understands the commercial part of the EPC contract and issues the project related purchasing conditions (PRPC).
• Create on timed delivery report and supplier heat map for the region.

Qualification & Experience

• Master degree from an accredited university or college or relevant experience
• 5 + years of experience in manufacturing, sourcing or project management.
