Job Description
IIQAF Group is currently looking for a qualified and experienced Bookkeeping Officer who will work closely with finance team to support day-to-day operations and contribute to overall success. There is no gender restrictions for this role, both males and females can apply.
Duties of Bookkeeping Officer
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording income, expenses, and other financial transactions.
- Process incoming and outgoing payments, including invoices, purchase orders, and payroll.
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports for management.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial documents and transactions.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure proper documentation and approvals are in place.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
- Monitor and maintain cash flow, including collecting and depositing checks and petty cash management.
- Handle all bookkeeping activities related to memberships, certifications, and training programs.
- Collaborate with team members to implement and improve financial processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
Requirments for Bookkeeping Officer
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting software such as Quickbooks.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
