Mediclinic Parkview Hospital presently has a job opening for eligible candidate for the position of a Biomedical Technician in Dubai, UAE. Job Purpose of a Biomedical Technician
To provide comprehensive biomedical technical support to the business unit, including preventative maintenance and repairs on medical equipment.
Job Duties of a Biomedical Technician
- Perform scheduled maintenance and performance assurance inspections on equipment to ensure safe and effective operating conditions.
- Test and calibrate components using a variety of manuals, troubleshooting techniques, and code requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies, including end user training.
- Repair and replace biomedical equipment and systems.
- Install and adjust a variety of biomedical and research equipment.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and act as first level support for biomedical queries.
Who Can Apply?
Qualification
- A relevant associate degree in biomedical engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the installation, repair, maintenance and calibration of biomedical equipment in a healthcare setting.
