Job Duties of Bid Specialist

• Assists in proposal writing & presentations.
• Fully understands the requirements of the RFP.
• Can analyze and present data for purposes of evaluation and decision-making.
• Develops comprehensive project plans and schedules, considering critical milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies to ensure efficient project execution.
• Utilizes advanced planning tools like P6 and techniques to optimize project timelines and resource utilization. ​
• Develops project plans, identifying project milestones, and coordinates project activities.
• Prepare GNG material for the leadership decision.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to recognize, process, and present information.
• Coordinates with Discipline Leads for required technical inputs.
• Coordinate with other End Market and Region to ensure that the RFP scope is address adequately, and all cost is accurately consider.
• Obtains quotes from sub-consultants as required and negotiates appropriate terms and conditions based on AECOM’s standard contract and Risk committee requirements.
• Leads the preparation of compelling proposals with win themes based on a complete understanding of client needs.
• Understands the competition and market trends.
• Works closely with the ME Work Winning Team / Bid Studio on strategic pursuits.
• Verify that all legal qualification and the Middle East Risk Committee directive is include in the final bid document before submit to the client.
• Submits well-considered and complete RFPA’s to the Risk Committee promptly.
• Delivers within proposal deadlines.
• Prepares presentations required for the Risk Committee.
• Participates in Risk committee meetings and supports the Capture Manager in delivering the presentation.
• May be require to coordinate daily task of more junior staff in the team and guides as and when required.
• Maintain Salesforce data.
• Independently prepares proposal submissions over AED 1 million in value.

Eligible Requirements

The eligibility requirements for the role of Bid Specialist are as under:

• Degree in engineering or commercial-related discipline or relevant commercial qualifications and industry experience.
• Generally, has 5+ Years of experience.
