Responsibilities

  • Greet guests stepping out of taxis with a big smile at the hotel door.
  • Haul luggage to rooms, showing off features like the spa or rooftop pool.
  • Help guests head out, loading bags into cars or airport shuttles.
  • Tuck away suitcases safely in the storage room when asked.
  • Drop off morning newspapers to rooms before the breakfast crowd.
  • Deliver guest messages or packages right away, no delays.
  • Keep the concierge desk and backroom neat, dusting shelves daily.
  • Share tips on Dubai gems, like Ski Dubai or nearby souks.
  • Pitch in with front desk staff to handle busy check-in waves.
  • Stay polished, even when the lobby’s packed with travelers.

Requirements

Education

Hospitality diploma or vocational concierge training.

Experience

0–1 years in hospitality; enthusiasm counts if you’re new.

Skills

  • Clear English to talk with guests and coworkers.
  • Strong enough to carry heavy bags or climb stairs.
