Jumeirah Group presently has job opening for eligible candidate for position of a Bartender. The aspiring candidate will work at Jumeirah Beach hotel in Dubai (subsidiary of Jumeirah Group). This job has recently been posted by Jumeirah Group on 24 October 2023 and is now open for all desirous candidates.

Job Purpose of A Bartender

The job purpose of a Bartender is to skillfully prepare and serve beverages while creating a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere for customers in a bar or restaurant.

Duties of A Bartender

• Identify and meet guests’ needs, provide appropriate bar services, and assist guests in recommendations, upselling where appropriate to provide knowledgeable and bespoke
  service.
• Serve beverages according to defined standards and measures (according to local license
  agreements).
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to beverage recipes.
• Ensure all drinks transactions are processed, registered, and settled.
• Setup the bar appropriately, ensuring the visuals and merchandise are placed appropriately.
• Undertake opening, closing & cleaning tasks as detailed on checklists.
• Adopt a responsible attitude towards serving of alcoholic beverages, to ensure safe consumption in line with group policy and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• High school graduate.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience at 5* luxury hotel.

Skills Desired 

• Proficient in spoken and written business English.
• Effective communication skills with all levels of colleagues and management at all levels.
