Bartender Food and Beverage Jumeirah Emirates Towers Dubai

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bartender to join the Food and Beverage Services team in Jumeirah Emirates Towers. The main purpose of this role is to provide quality food and beverage service that is consistent with the SBU SOP at all times. Is required to work in a variety of air-conditioned environments such as restaurants but may also be required to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions. Maybe required to work in split-shifts and late-night shifts and will also be exposed to a smoky environment.

Responsibilities of Bartender

• Identify and meet guests’ needs, provide appropriate bar services, and assist guests in recommendations, upselling where appropriate in order to provide knowledgeable and bespoke service.
• Recognize customer dissatisfaction promptly and take action to resolve the situation according to individual level of responsibility and guest feedback / complaint procedures to win back guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environment procedures, instructions, and controls so that Company provides world class and
• luxurious hospitality services to its guests.
• Comply with quality expectations and standards.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team to reach common goals.
• Maintain efficient workflow by adhering to the sequence of service and standards detailed in relevant F&B Standards Manual.
• Serve beverages according to defined standards and measures (according to local license agreements).
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to beverage recipes.
• Process, register, and settle all drink transactions.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Undertake opening, closing & cleaning tasks as detailed on checklists.
• Check expiration dates and store all perishable garnishes in designated storage areas while recording them.
• Adopt a responsible attitude towards serving of alcoholic beverages, to ensure safe consumption in line with company policy and regulatory requirements.
• Perform related tasks and duties as assigned and deemed responsible by management.

Requirements of Bartender

• Peferably holding a WSET Level 2 certification or equivalent bar courses.
• 2 years of working experience in a similar role in a luxury five-star hotel environment.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• You will have excellent written and spoken English skills, additional language is advantage.
• Knowledge of hotel operating systems is a must.
