As a Banquet and Catering Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the set-up and clean-up of food and beverage during banquet functions and outside catering continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. There is no gender restriction for this job, both males and females can apply for this job.
Responsibilities of Banquet and Catering Team Leader
- Supervise food and beverage service throughout banquet functions and outside catering to ensure quality service and product quality.
- Assist with the planning, organizing and execution of all banquet functions and outside catering including, but not limited to, breakfast, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, galas, etc.
- Greet and welcome client representative and guests, responding to requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
- Supervise all phases of different banqueting functions and catering in coordination with other departments.
- Oversee and ensure that banqueting team members follow all service standards and departmental policies.
- Be familiar with all current and upcoming event details.
- Resolve team member and guest concerns quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance of Hilton brand standards.
- Maintain exceptional levels of service with a continuous focus on improvements.
- Participate in and lead department meetings.
- Process banquet and catering checks accurately and efficiently for payment.
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
- Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations.
Requirements of Banquet and Catering Team Leader
- High School Diploma or internationally recognized degree.
- 2+ years experience in hotel.
- 1-2 years experience in similar function.
