AVP Personal Finance Products Dubai Islamic Bank

Dubai Islamic Bank is currently hiring the suitably qualified & experienced candidate for role of AVP Personal Finance Products. The candidate will be responsible to assist in developing product strategy and subsequently planning, directing, and managing the operations of Personal Finance product management function to ensure the Al Islami Personal Finance business will achieve its strategic goals.

Responsibilities of AVP Personal Finance Products

• Propose, ensure execution and monitor results of product strategy to ensure comprehensive achievement of Personal Finance strategic goals.
• Plan, coordinate delivery, and monitor achievement of the product profitability targets.
• Develop and lead seamless execution of new product propositions, processes, and systems.
• Coordinate approval and maintain record thereof of customer transaction documents by Fatwa & Sharia. Supervisory Board (FSSB) and Legal Department to ensure compliance with Sharia and legal guidelines.
• Identify and implement revenue generation and cost reduction opportunities to enhance product profitability.
• Analyze and lead effective execution of process, system, TAT, and documentation improvement opportunities to strengthen the product proposition.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, credit, IT, BPA, Shariah, legal, audit and collections to achieve Product sales, profitability, and positioning objectives.
• Develop effective and value driven incentive plans for sales staff and payment plans for vendors to optimize the channel and vendor productivity.
• Ensure timely and effective roll out of marketing communications and promotions to both counter and leverage implications of acquisition seasonality and competitor initiatives.
• Coordinate the resolution of process breakdown and policy interpretation related customer issues across all functions to ensure delivery of a seamless product proposition to customers.
• Develop new and strengthen existing business relationships with vendors to ensure delivery of consistently high levels of service to customers.
• Monitor competitor activity and implement effective actions to counter them to ensure achievement of Personal Finance strategic goals.
• Anticipate and recognize business opportunities or problems, develop respective action plan, coordinate its effective implementation to ensure achievement of Personal Finance strategic goals.
• All above responsibilities include but not limited to any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned by Head of Asset Products.

Eligibility Requirements

The requirements for the AVP Personal Finance products are as under:

• Minimum Bachelors degree.
• MBA will be a plus.
• Advanced Professional of retail banking and products, consumer behavior, marketing and product development practices with Minimum 7-8 years of work experience.
