AVP Central MI First Abu Dhabi Bank

AVP Central MI at First Abu Dhabi Bank is responsible to support Business as Usual (BAU) activities and shaping the overall landscape to enhance efficiencies and enable value add analytics for Personal Banking MIS Reporting. Coordinating and leading with Business Finance, understand their requirements and resolve their BAU issues. Also, responsible to support projects and assist in MI Development Program.

Responsibilities of AVP Central MI

  • Cross functional coordination with relative stakeholders (finance and business finance functions).
  • Initiation of Group activities across functions/countries and entities.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop process improvements during discovery sessions.
  • Cross function collaboration to introduce tools in alignment with the group strategy.
  • Provide support to the Group with ongoing initiatives with the implementation of policies and frameworks.
  • Ensure timeliness of project deliverables and requirements until the deployment stage.
  • Cover working areas to ensure all critical aspects are covered.
  • Ensure function readiness for post delivery.
  • Monitor progress and coordinate with stakeholders for conflict resolution that might affect/delay the delivery and function readiness.
  • Provide process analysis with change recommendations in alignment with Group initiatives.
  • Monthly , quarterly and yearly variance analysis.

Specific accountabilities

  • Sound knowledge on retail and private banking products.
  • Digital MI and Digital banking products understanding.


  • Regular coordination with relevant stakeholders on the progress of the initiatives for all entities, functions, and countries.
  • Functions within the framework and boundaries of Group policies as well as overall organizational and governance frameworks.
  • Authorized to take decisions as per the approved authorization matrix.

Requirements of AVP Central MI

  • CA / ACCA / CFA / any other equivalent professional certification or Master’s in finance.
  • Job knowledge, skills & experience with 5 year of experience.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Strong background working with banking systems and data model.
  • Strong data visualization and dot connecting skills.
  • Strongly focussed towards introducing efficiencies through automation including fintech capabilities, SQL, AI, Python Scripting & ML..
  • Deep know how of the Power BI Functional knowledge and capabilities.
  • Strong MS Office (Especially PowerPoint & Excel skills).
  • Proactive and strong sense of responsibility and accountability combined with ability to work independently with limited general supervision.
  • Proactive in Attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
