Transguard Group is currently recruiting for an Aviation Services Senior Manager for their trusted client to be based out of their office in Dubai. Overall responsibility for the client portfolio for revenue delivery, account management and enhancing and optimizing operational excellence across the assigned customer account portfolio. The individual will be responsible for delivering the targeted revenue and gross contribution, project managing client mobilizations, day-to-day delivery of operations. Contribute to the growth of account portfolio and new business tenders as well as manage a team of individuals. Actively contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the business, with a focus supporting the BU Head to drive team effort aligned to the mission, vision and strategy of the Group. This is a senior level full time role. For this role the salary ranges from 15000 AED to 30000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Duties of Aviation Services Senior Manager

Financial Responsibilities as Aviation Services Senior Manager 

  • Develop the business growth of the account portfolio, through new business and organic growth, assuming full commercial responsibility.
  • Implicitly understand the commercial aspects of the contracts and monitor the management of the service to ensure delivery within the boundaries of the contracts and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and achieving the operational SLA and commercial KPIs.
  • Ensure customer account portfolio are delivering to budgeted targets, revenue and gross contributions, contributing to the department P&L, accurate reporting for forecasting and revenue is maximized.
  • Ensure the Account Team understand the commercial agreement and manage the service delivery within the timelines and deliverables of the contract.
  • Working closely with the legal and commercial teams be able to provide clear direction on actions throughout the term of contract relating to any breach any actions required to remedy.
  • Responsible for management monthly report with operational data to support the review of the financial performance of the contract scorecard.

Customer

  • Proactively manage the relationship with the client in line with the RACI matrix under the guidance of the Account Manager.
  • Provide ideas on growth initiatives to maximize the potential opportunities with new clients and contacts.
  • Ensure all commercials are within the bounds of the contracts and billing accurately reflects all terms and conditions.
  • Effective debtor management across the Account Portfolio ensure risk profiles are fully secured with all clients and decisive actions are taken where necessary.
  • To protect the business sample.
  • Respond to queries efficiently within a timely manner.

Process

  • Analyses trends and metrics to develop and enhance solutions, processes, and programs that address current inefficiencies and creating improved processes.
  • Measuring, validating, and testing of the effectiveness of metrics that are applied by the business to assess and drive productivity optimization.
  • Developing programs and methods that aid in the achievement of measurable improvements in metric results and which avail actionable people management solutions and strategies.
  • Responsible for Management Reporting, the collation of reports for MPR and Control Rooms.
  • Drive a lean culture within the team, focused on operational excellence and business performance.

Innovation

  • Fully understand the bid / quote request documents to become familiar and well versed with the requirements & scope of work.
  • Develop a plan of action around the deadlines to ensure that solutions are completed on time and in line with RFP requirements.
  • Reviewing the asset list, BOQ, & amp; drawings to understand the magnitude of the scope of work along with the scope falling under the specialist service providers.
  • Prepare a complete solution strategy/ process including complete lifecycle starting from receiving tenders to successful closeout.
  • Working with key members of the other business units and the client organization.
  • Understanding the competition and the current market conditions. Utilizing market research to compete aggressively without compromising on the quality.
  • Float various subcontractor queries to applicable vendors and follow up with procurement to get multiple quotes per service.
  • Adequate information to be provided to vendor or procurement to provide a quote including detailed SOW with KPIs and SLAs.
  • Support procurement in negotiating the rates if found to be not in line with industry standards.
  • Review and verify the quotes received.
  • Create comparisons highlighting the prices of each vendors along with any exclusions etc.
  • Development of robust cost model for ensuring commercial analysis of tender contracts with presentation of the key risks.
  • Resource management within Bid team to ensure successful outcomes.
  • To review developed estimates based on actual, market benchmark, historical data, TFM take offs, vendors, subcontract proposals, site conditions, clients expectations and requirements.

Eligibility Requirements for An Aviation Services Senior Manager

  • University Degree.
  • Minimum educational requirements, include must have certifications (if any).
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience.

Skills Desired

  • Technical skill required to perform accountabilities.
  • Financial Background a plus.
