Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites is presently hiring suitable candidate for role of an AV Technician. The selected candidate will perform his/her duties at Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Dubai. This vacancy was announced by the hotel on 1 December 2023. Candidates with requisite skills and experience should submit their applications.

Responsibilities of An AV Technician

• Support guests, particularly those involved in coordinating meetings and conferences, in meeting all their needs of audio visual and IT & that all their IT equipment works to their full satisfaction.
• Maintain a full and thorough knowledge of standard IT equipment and how it all works together, including PCs, laser projectors, audio speakers, TVs, DVD players, CD-ROM players.
• Maintain a full and working knowledge of hardware, operating systems, application software and supporting tools available in the market today.
• Keep all IT equipment in full working conditition through routine maintenance/ preventive maintenance activities.
• Report the matter to higher ups regarding the non repairable IT equipment for necesaary replacement.
• Perform any other work related to IT equipment maintenance as asked by higher ups or which may fall within scope of job duties.

Qualification & Experience

• Appropriate documented training from a technical/vocational institute.
• 1 year operating experience in a hotel engineering department.
• Good knowledge in IT and Audio Visual.
