Accor Hotels is actively recruiting experienced and devoted candidates for the role of an AV Chief. The successful candidate will work at Rixos The Palm Hotel & Suites (subsidiary of Accor Hotels) located in Dubai, UAE. The incumbent will be responsible for providing excellent guest service and maintain overall efficiency of set standards for the audio visual function. Responsibilities of An AV Chief

• Lead, train, and mentor a team of audio visual technicians to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Create schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to ensure efficient and effective operation.
• Collaborate with event planners, hotel staff, and clients to understand audio visual requirements for various events.
• Coordinate setup, testing, operation, and breakdown of audio visual equipment for meetings, conferences, weddings, and other events.
• Ensure all audio visual equipment is functioning properly and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of audio visual equipment, ensuring proper storage, maintenance, and organization.
• Recommend and oversee the purchase of new equipment and upgrades based on industry trends and client needs.
• Stay current with emerging audio visual technologies and trends to provide innovative solutions to clients.
• Set up and operate complex audio visual systems, including sound systems, projectors, screens, lighting, and video conferencing equipment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their audio visual requirements are met and exceeded.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients, helping them choose the appropriate audio visual setups for their events.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of AV Chief are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relavent field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in 5* hotel.
• Experience in the GCC and/or Middle East Region is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
