Job Description

A full-time spot’s just opened up in Sharjah for Auto Electrician who’s got solid hands-on experience with fixing and fitting vehicle electronics. This role’s all about digging into the electrical side of things — from rewiring lights to troubleshooting dashboard faults and getting all those small but crucial components back in shape. It’s based on-site, and they’re looking for someone who can read diagrams, figure out faults without second-guessing, and knows their way around diagnostic gear. A certificate or diploma in auto electrics would be great, but if you’ve been working in a garage or workshop and know your stuff, that works too. Attention to detail, staying safe, and knowing how modern car systems talk to each other all pretty important here.

  • Find out what’s wrong with a car’s electrical system  fast and accurately.
  • Fix or replace wires, sensors, switches, and other components.
  • Set up new systems when needed  lights, batteries, audio, you name it.
  • Work alongside mechanics when jobs cross over.
  • Suggest better or safer options if something’s outdated or faulty.
  • Keep records, not just for the sake of it  but so the next fix is easier.
  • Stick to safety rules, every time.
  • Learn new tech as it shows up because it always does.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

Preferably a certificate or diploma in auto electrical or automotive technology. If not, solid workshop experience counts.

Experience

At least a couple of years (2–3 minimum) working on vehicles, diagnosing issues, and dealing with auto electrics directly.

Skills

  • Can read and follow wiring diagrams with confidence.
  • Knows how to handle scanning tools and meters.
  • Communicates clearly, especially when explaining faults.
  • Works well alone or in a team setting.
  • Doesn’t need hand-holding to get things done right.

Knowledge

  • Knows how vehicle systems are connected — not just the parts, but the logic.
  • Aware of how to safely work around batteries, fuses, ECUs, and sensors.
  • Understands how to track down shorts or faults that aren’t obvious.
  • Keeps up with changes in modern car tech.
  • Familiar with both basic and advanced electrical repairs.
