Job Purpose of A Senior Auditor

• Deliver highly valued Internal Audit (IA) assurance and advisory services across the company.
• Participate in annual planning, engagement execution and follow up activities for selected engagements.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders during engagements and proposes insights to the Internal Audit Manager with intention of making a positive difference.

Job Duties of A Senior Auditor

• Develop Internal audit plan.
• Act as a team member on assigned engagements, independently delivering high quality and timely fieldwork for allocated areas.
• Deliver elements of engagement planning and reporting processes to support IAM in delivering his responsibilities.
• Regularly update the IAM on the progress of their allocated areas of the engagement, raising significant findings timely, proactively coordinating IAM file review and taking corrective actions to address issues impacting the engagement.
• Ensure that Q&E feedback is appropriately addressed.
• Supervise & coach other team members and trainees during the engagement.
• Drive own performance and development, ensuring that performance management and development requirements are completed comprehensively and timely.
• Propose improvement ideas which contribute towards the strategic direction of IA&ERM.
• Develop relationship across Mubadala and SolutionPlus to enable effective knowledge sharing within the IA&ERM department to enhance team’s capabilities and practices.
• Constructively challenge peers to ensure that the IA&ERM department performs at its optimal level.
• Recognize and celebrate collaborative behaviour across the across the IA&ERM department.
• Undertake all relevant activities above in line with the department’s policies and procedures, including the IA methodology.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in a complex organization or a Big 4 firm and preferably with experience working in various industries.

Certification

• A recognized certification such as CIA, CPA, ACA or equivalent.

Skills Desired

• Strategic mindset and strong business acumen.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
