Job Purpose of An Audiovisual Technician

• Transporting, setting up, and installing media equipment and supporting audiovisual tools, including equipment racks, speakers, monitors, and cameras.
• Setting up and performing electrical wiring, programming, and basic construction according to layout diagrams and schedules.
• Conducting tests on audio, videos, and signals, promptly resolving any encountered issues.
• Managing equipment malfunctions to ensure seamless event execution.
• Safely dismantling equipment, wiring, and support tools.
• Maintaining an organized inventory of equipment, wiring, and accessories.
• Undertaking cleaning, maintenance, and repair tasks for audiovisual equipment.
• Compiling expense reports for management.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Experience in audio mixer software, light control decks, cabling.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Full English proficiency is required.
• Additional spoken languages are a plus.
• In-depth working knowledge of camera, LED, Audio, and lighting techniques.
• Proficiency in computer usage and adept troubleshooting skills.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and flexibility.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Capability to endure prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
• Good hearing and eyesight.
