Responsibilities of An Associate Vice President
- To drive the business origination for Commercial Banking products with an aim to meet the budgeted revenue targets by ensuring adherence to the Banks policies, ethics and code of conduct.
- To achieve the budgeted TWC booking / book growth, fees targets & cross sell within the acceptable risk standards.
- To train and develop employees and communicate performance expectations.
- To source new business accounts for increasing fee income and utilization.
- To align trade transactions in order to facilitate the requirement of customers.
- To establish and maintain a collaborative environment that builds a high performance team.
- To maintain awareness of the department’s Business Continuity Plan and undertake appropriate training to ensure correct action is taken in the event of an incident or disruption.
Requirements For Associate Vice President
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field like Finance, Accounting, Banking, or Business.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing Commercial Banking products.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Ability to analyze reports and data to recognize adverse market trends.
- Ability to handle presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Good leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with the team.
