Job Description

Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences is seeking a dynamic and committed Associate Professor in Health Professions Education to join their team at the IOL. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, teaching, and providing service in medical or health professions education. The position also offers opportunities for leadership within departmental programs. IOL faculty members are expected to maintain active research programs in their area of expertise that contribute to the advancement of Health Professions Education (HPE).

Responsibilities of Associate Professor

Conduct research that advances the field of HPE.
Teach and advise students in the Postgraduate Diploma and MSc HPE programs.
Contribute to departmental certificate programs and faculty development activities.
Participate in service activities within the department.

Job Requirements of Associate Professor

A Ph.D. in Medical/Health Professions Education or a related field.
2 year documented experience in medical or other health professions education.
Demonstrated scholarship and a track record of funding in HPE.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

Broad interests and skills within HPE, along with depth in an area of study or methodology relevant to HPE.
Proficiency in written and spoken English (essential).
Knowledge of Arabic (desirable).
