Purpose of Associate Director Marketing

Oversees strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives to drive business growth and brand presence.

Your Job Duties As An Associate Director Marketing At Grand Hyatt Dubai UAE

Administration

  • To ensure that personnel / official records are maintained in correct manner.

People Skills

  • To deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
  • To provide excellent service to internal customers.
  • To be familiar with the hotel’s products and services and policies.
  • To handle media relations and head public relations for any query that may arise.
  • To maintain positive colleague interactions with good working relations.

Financial

  • To ensure that all hotel, company and local rules, policy and regulations relating to financial record keeping, money handling and licensing are adhered to, including the timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
  • Approving / supporting of marketing billing and invoicing needs for Grand Hyatt Dubai.

Strategic

  • To work closely with hotel digital strategy team and planning to support overall hotel marketing goals.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for Grand Hyatt Dubai for marketing related queries.
  • Develop & implement a long term marketing strategy for all aspects.
  • Lead content strategy for Grand Hyatt Dubai.
  • To build network of PR and media related decision makers, entertain them at the hotel and maintain regular contact to maximize exposure of hotel communication.
  • Coordination with Hyatt divisional / corporate office for global marketing directions.

Other Duties

  • To attend and contribute to all training sessions and meetings.
  • To exercise responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel team and Hyatt International.
  • To read the hotel’s employee handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel’s rules and regulations.
  • To ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
  • To respond to changes in the Human Resources function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Marketing or Hospitality / Tourism management.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years work experience as marketing manager in a larger operation.

  • Good interpersonal skills.
