Burj Al Arab Jumeirah is presently accepting applications from suitable candidate for the job role of Associate Director. The selected candidate will oversee departmental operations, contributes to strategic planning, and manages projects and teams within hotel.

Responsibilities Of Associate Director

• Responsibilities include leading and manage the hotels Rooms Division departments including but not limited to Front Office, Housekeeping, Butler Operations and Guest Relations.
• Provide strategy and planning to drive operations while delivering administrative support and g
• Guidance in the areas such as manning, employee performance etc.
• Drives highest levels of guest satisfaction through the consistent execution of Jumeirah standards, visible operational leadership and interaction with guests and employees.
• Shows loyalty towards Jumeirah and takes ownership of the entire Front office operations.
• Handles guest feedback efficiently and identifies and anticipate guests’ needs and requirements.
• Employs discipline as required utilizing consistency, fairness and respect within the framework of established guidelines.
• Participate in daily Executive Meetings and departmental operational meetings and follow up on immediate operational demands.
• Maintains a high level of communication and feedback within the department.
• Meets top VIP guests on arrival and departure and builds a rapport with the in-house guests and maintains interaction in order to facilitate guest recognition and obtain information regarding their preferences.

Requirements Of Associate Director

• Bachelor Degree in Hospitality or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in a 5-star hotel or luxury environment.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Fluency in English and additional language
