Assistant Technician Airfield Civil Works/Painter Serco UAE

Serco is presently looking to hire skilled and experienced candidate for job role of an Assistant Technician Airfield Civil Works/Painter in Dubai. The successful candidate will carryout preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance within a facilities management civil works section, individually or as part of a technical team, whilst ensuring minimal disruption to the business operations.

Responsibilities of An Assistant Technician Airfield Civil Works/Painter

• To conform to general and safety requirements at all times to ensure the health & welfare of self and others at work.
• Ability to perform safely and correctly painting the Indoor and outdoor walls, Various types of wall units, Taxiways & Asphalt/paved/concrete Roads
• Asset maintenance experience for periodic preventive maintenance, breakdown trouble, corrective maintenance, configuration and modifications.
• Promoting a zero harm culture within team and all suppliers and sub-contractors engaged on Projects work.
• Ensure compliance with the Serco Management System and all relevant business processes and work instructions to deliver all work with appropriate quality.
• Ensure security and integrity of all data provided including reporting performance, finance and customer information, reference Serco non-disclosure policy.
• Ensure compliance with all training requirements of Serco and ensure adherence to these requirements.
• Report any accidents, incidents, breaches or potential breaches to appropriate management or the speak up process.

Requirements for Role of An Assistant Technician Airfield Civil Works/Painter

• High School Certificate.
• Industrial Training Institute Certificate or Diploma (2 year duration) in painting and decorating or equivalent (post high school).
• 2 years of experience in related field.
• IOSH Working Safely Certificate or equivalent.

Skills Desired

• Ability to communicate with staff, stakeholders and customers in oral and written English.
