Job Description
NAFFCO is looking to recruit an Assistant Store Officer for their plant in Dubai, UAE. Assistant Store Officer
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming raw materials and check for quality and quantity
- Keep the store area organized and ensure everything is in the right place
- Track inventory regularly and report any issues or shortages
- Issue materials to production based on requirements
- Update records for all receipts, dispatches, and returns
- Make sure safety rules are followed inside the store
- Train junior staff and help them with basic procedures
- Work with the purchasing team to follow up on pending materials
- Report any damaged or expired items in the store
- Assist during stock audits and keep reports updated
- Suggest better ways to manage space and store layout
- Support regular updates in the inventory system (ERP)
- Flag any gaps in the supply process that may delay production
- Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving items
- Help improve the overall efficiency of the store
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or similar field
Experience
Minimum 3 years of store or inventory work in a factory or manufacturing setup
Skills
- Comfortable using ERP systems like SAP
- Strong organizational habits
- Good verbal and written communication
- Time management and multi-tasking
- Ability to supervise a small team
- Confidence in handling reports and data
Knowledge
- Inventory tracking methods
- Basic safety practices in warehousing

- Stock rotation and space planning
- Vendor delivery coordination
