Responsibilities of Assistant Stewarding Manager

• Collaborates with senior management to actively participate in the Selection, Training, and Scheduling of personnel, fostering the ‘Vibe at FIVE’ to achieve Collective Objectives.
• Upholds the highest standards of Appearance and Professionalism, ensuring adherence to the highest Quality Expectations and industry-leading Safety Protocols. Vigilantly Reports Incidents, maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding the hotel’s assets.
• Fosters Collaboration with other departments, implementing effective procedures to Streamline Operations. And enhance overall Guest and Employee Satisfaction scores in an extravagant and buzzing work environment.
• Oversees Comprehensive Training Programmes, instilling FIVE’s Core Values, Job Responsibilities, and Technical Expertise within the team, contributing to the award winning Reputation of the hotel.
• Leads by example as a Departmental Role Model, guiding ‘FIVERs’ through their Technical Duties and Responsibilities, setting the bar for Outstanding Service, and fostering an environment of Continuous Improvement.
• Supports the management in communicating and establishing Visionary Goals, Performance Expectations, and Deadlines, ensuring clarity among hourly employees and providing the Necessary Resources for effective job execution.
• Actively engages in the Coaching and Development of the team, setting expectations for Continuous Improvement and creating plans to elevate performance to ‘FIVE Star’ Standards.

Requirements of Assistant Stewarding Manager

The requirements of Assistant Stewarding manager are as under:

• High School Diploma or equivalent or certificate/diploma in hospitality.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Supervisory Role in Stewarding or related roles in a Luxury Hotel.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines, and a thorough understanding of Food Safety Standards.
• Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English.
• Computer literacy, with a mastery of Word, Excel, and Outlook is mandatory. knowledge of Oasys and Adaco systems are Advantageous.
• Familiarity with Forbes Service Standards in guest-facing roles is a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Store Organisation, Inventory Execution and Stock Control.
• Exceptional skills in Improving Customer and Stakeholder Satisfaction and Driving Profitability, showcasing a commitment to Industry Leading Standards.
• A hands-on attitude, fueled by a ‘Can Do!’ Spirit.
