About the Role

The Assistant Special Educator at Dubai Autism Center will support the lead Special Educator in delivering individualized education programs for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Furthermore, this role requires an enthusiastic and creative team player who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special needs. Moreover, the assistant will contribute to classroom management, student assessments, and the implementation of tailored learning strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Special Educator in teaching students with autism
• Support the implementation of individualized education plans and learning goals
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead educator
• Prepare classroom materials and learning resources for daily activities
• Manage student behavior using positive reinforcement strategies
• Collaborate with therapists and other support staff on student development
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
• Support parent communication and family engagement initiatives
• Participate in professional development and training workshops

Requirements

• Diploma in Special Education or Bachelor’s in Special Education or related course
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience with children with special needs
• CDA Licensed or eligible to obtain CDA License
• Enthusiastic, creative, and passionate team player
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
