Assistant Restaurant Manager DAMAC Group UAE

DAMAC Group is looking to hire a candidate for the job role of a Assistant Restaurant Manager in DAMAC Executive Heights, TECOM, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, PO Box 2195 Dubai, UAE. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 10000-20000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Assistant Restaurant Manager

  • Ensure that the team have good knowledge of food and beverage and take responsibility for the delivery of this knowledge to the guest.
  • Ensure that tables are arranged and set up accordingly.
  • Ensure that service stations are correctly arranged and set-up.
  • Ensure that all team is familiar with correct billing procedures.
  • Ensure all equipment remains in good condition and train casts to handle it proficiently.
  • Arrange daily meetings for team/attend daily meetings .
  • Ensure that outlet operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining standards in terms of food, service, health & safety and reputation.
  • Supervise F&B service by directing and guiding their subordinates.
  • They must ensure adequate staffing in the restaurant area during their shift and promptly inform their superior of any shortages, aligning with budgeted targets.
  • Ensure guests preferences are remembered by the team.
  • Make sure all relevant supervisors receive training to take reservations.
  • Ensure greeting, seating and taking orders by the team are all done to the hotel standards.
  • To enhance a professional image, ensure that the hotel maintains grooming and hygiene standards.
  • Be aware of and comply with, safe working practices as laid down under Health and Safety practices. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards at your work place.

Requirements for Role of Assistant Restaurant Manager

  • Degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
  • A total of 4-5 years experience in Food and Beverage.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
  • 2 years minimum in a similar role in a 5 * international environment.
  • Experience working in a multi cultural environment.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Worked previously in F&B service.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of Micros system.
  • MS Program (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Advanced Excel.
