Assistant Relationship Manager at RAKBANK UAE is responsible to support the relationship management team in maintaining and growing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and promoting the bank’s products and services.

Responsibilities of Assistant Relationship Manager

• Maintain client relationship, ensure delivery of quality service and provide an on-going support for the Wholesale Banking Group (WBG).
• Assume joint responsibility in the administration of the portfolio in order to adhere to the service standards of the unit.
• Assist the Relationship Managers in maintaining client relationship, credit proposal writing, industry analysis, legal documentation, in addition to resolving day to day issues, ensuring the coverage team’s involvement in operational issues is brought to a minimum.
• Assist the Relationship Managers on servicing transactional requirements (Trade transactions, Syndicated/Bilateral loans, remittance related queries, processing disbursement, coordinating with the Facility agent etc.)
• Liaise regularly with various departments including but not limited to Risk, Credit, Treasury, Operations, Legal and Compliance, within the bank and manage requests and enquiries pertaining to transactions and documentation.
• Prioritize, perform and implement all aspects of risk mitigation plan and assist in the development and management of processes to identify and evaluate business risk areas.
• Proactively monitor critical risk issues and report them to senior levels for corrective actions.
• Attend to the clients’ enquiries and coordinate with various departments to ensure resolution in a timely manner.
• Explore and highlight business opportunities in the Unit portfolio.

Requirements of Assistant Relationship Manager

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CA / CFA / MBA is an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Wholesale Banking.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Good relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of credit proposal writing.
• Knowledge of financial statement analysis and forecasting.
