Job Description
Assistant Relationship Manager at Emirates Islamic Bank is responsible to drive revenue growth and profitability by managing a portfolio of Financial Institutions clients, ensuring high quality service delivery and identifying cross selling opportunities.
Responsibilities of Assistant Relationship Manager
- Liaise with internal teams to manage Account Opening Documents, TRY rates, Wakalas, Loan Drawdown and rollovers within the portfolio.
- Ensuring timely cheque clearings and TT approvals when referred.
- To provide full support to the Relationship Mangers by increasing utilization, Effort should be to increase revenue.
- Manage client interactions and addressing/resolving their queries.
- Ensure e filing system is properly maintained.
- To coordinate with Relationship Manager /Business Credit Unit on internal conditions with respect to Facility Application Letter/Facility Offer Letter/deferral and arrange for necessary approvals to ensure nil overdues within portfolio.
- To ensure Customer Due Diligence, FATCA & Compliance related issues are addressed on timely basis.
- Past Due /overdue to be closely monitored.
- Updating of the Expired Trade License/EIDA.
- Monitoring pending covenants on on-going basis to ensure compliance.
- Managing internal conditions/internal updates by coordinating with Relationship Manager/Unit Head /Business Credit Unit and obtaining approvals.
- Daily Control Reports/Reconciliations to be self manage.
- Project monitoring status report to be update on ongoing basis.
- To submit all the requisite reports for the portfolio within stipulated time frame.
- Adherence to policies, procedures and authority Limits ;Compliance with policy and procedures.
- Develop appropriate selling including cross selling) approaches to potential and current customers to facilitate.
- Maintain relationships with customers to increase knowledge of customer situation and enhance business opportunities.
- Prepare and gain approval for proposals that will meet the organization’s criteria and customer needs.
- Comply with the approved policies, procedures and norms to protect the organization’s and customer’s interests.
- Regularly review account performance making appropriate recommendations for optimizing returns.
- Identify personal strengths and areas necessary for development in order to enhance personal value.
Role Requirements
The requirements for the job role of Assistant Relationship Manager are as under:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At Least 4 years relevant experience.
